102 Gymnastics Abbreviations

  1. 10.0 – A Ten – This is what a perfect score in gymnastics used to be called before the change to open-ended scoring. It is also called a “Perfect 10”.  It is still a valid term for collegiate and some developmental programs.
  2. 1/1 – Full (360 degrees).
  3. 2/1 – Double (720 degrees) Full or Double Back.
  4. 3/1 – Triple (1080 degrees) Full or Triple Back.
  5. AA – All-Around.
  6. AAU – Amateur Athletic Union (U.S. Olympic Governing body before USGF and USAG).
