Gymnast Doing Arabesque

Buy this limited edition print of an original gymnastics painting
by John Howard.
Currently Selling Limited Edition Numbers 6/50 - 15/50 in order.

On Sale $74.95

This is a limited edition signed print of an original painting of a gymnast doing an arabesque.

Unique Silhouette Style Painting
The painting is one of the artist’s favorite subjects – gymnastics - and is in a unique stark silhouette experimental style.  It is one of a group of original paintings with a gymnastics subject and all done in stark silhouette.  The original painting was done in December of 1998 and is owned by a former Elite gymnast who is also one of the subjects of his paintings.

Hand Signed and Numbered
The painting is hand signed and numbered by the artist.  As is standard in limited editions, the painting is signed on the lower right corner of the print and the numbers are in the lower left corner.

One On the Wall of the Artist’s Studio
The other originals in this particular bold style are all now in private collections or still decorating the artist’s studio.

Only an Art Expert Can Tell It’s not the Original
This print so closely matches the artist’s original painting that if we told you it was the original, only a very experienced art expert could tell it was a print.

9” x 12” Work of Art
The actual print art is 9” x 12.”  The print of the painting is 9” x 12” with a two inch border of the canvass all around the painting image for stretching (mounting on a wooden frame as is common practice with many original paintings) or for size flexibility when framing  It is centered on a canvas that is 13” x 16” so it can be stretched over a framed or placed in a variety of picture frame sizes.

A Short-Term and Long-Term Investment
Limited edition prints like this often increase in value as more are sold and there are fewer available for sale. Quality Giclée Prints also tend to rise in value over time along with other high quality works of art.

Very Limited Edition
Many print editions number up to as many as 5000.  This very special edition print is guaranteed to be limited to only 50.

Collector’s Item
This is not just a purchase of a painting.  This limited edition is destined to become a gymnastic collector’s item and is likely to become more valuable with age.

A Gift that Will Last a Lifetime
This would make a great gift for any gymnast, coach, gymnastics enthusiast or art collector.  It is a gift that will last a lifetime and will likely only grow in value as does artwork in general and as such a very small limited edition like this most likely will.

Limited Edition
Limited edition prints, signed and dated by the artist are generally more valuable to art buyers for the obvious reasons of limited supply. If the demand exceeds the availability of the art the prices and desirability increases.  This is a very small limited edition of only 200 prints.  After these 200 are sold, none will ever be produced again like these.

Museum Quality Giclée Print
Prints of this quality are proudly displayed in art museums around the world. Giclée are well established in the art world; they are bought and sold in world class auctions as well as in galleries. A giclée on canvas brings a significant premium over those printed on fine art paper. The beauty and brilliance of a pigment giclée on canvas, watercolor or satin paper is unparalleled.

Only the Best
Giclée printing is tonality rich, luscious in subtle ways. Sinfully rich, thick high durability substrates catering to the discerning visual artist accustomed to the best fine art prime materials.  As a condition for creating the edition, the artist demanded that only the best process and the finest materials be used to create the edition pieces so none of the nuances of the original artwork would be lost.

The Finest Canvas and Ink
This museum quality giclée Print on the finest Fredrix Ultrasmooth Canvas.
Our giclée printing process uses on the finest quality archival inks, which are guaranteed to last up to 100 years.

Includes a Certificate of Authenticity
This print comes with a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the artist and guaranteeing that this is an authorized print of his original work and that the edition is guaranteed to be limited to no more than 50 prints for now and forever.

A Favorite Subject and Painting of the Artist
There is another original painting of this same subject in a different color and in a much larger gym-sized artwork piece in the artist’s collection of silhouette paintings that may be offered in the future as a limited edition, also.  The artist has favorite subjects and has frequently painted similar paintings in different sizes.  In this case there are two similar paintings, but currently this one is the only one offered.

This is Art, Not a Poster
A canvas print is very archival and can be hung without glass on top of it. Many people like to buy art, not posters for their homes.  In addition to durability and perceived value, a canvas giclée print will match closely or perfectly the original, so it is easy to see how more people want to enjoy and appreciate art as it was meant to be.

Multiple Mounting Options
This work of art will be shipped un-mounted and unframed allowing collectors an unlimited range of framing or mounting choices to match their taste and décor.

NOTE:  The picture does not show the signature or the numbering.

NOTE:  Please note also that Internet pictures are low quality by necessity to be able to load quickly.  We believe the actual painting will look as good or better than these pictures of it on the Internet.

NOTE:  The Internet is also known for slight distortion of the colors of pictures so the artwork you get may be of a slightly different hue than the picture you see
